Is there a better season than fall? Football, playoff baseball, pumpkin everything, the weather is cooling down and the time for fun, fall themed beer! Pontoon wanted to put our foodie minds together and give you all a “fall” break from pumpkin overload to give you Midnight Sliver, Pecan Pie Nut Brown Ale! The name is a mouthful, just like our medium bodied, nutty brown ale! With a creamy mouthfeel and a ton of dry roasted pecan meal, Midnight Sliver transports you to Thanksgiving Day without the food coma! Pontoon uses real dry roasted pecan meal in the mash and secondary to give some pie crust flavor and uses real cinnamon and vanilla to balance out the Pecan Pie flavor! Not too sweet, not too filling, Midnight Sliver will have you going back for more! Allow the beer to warm up to 45 degrees or so in order to get the full effect!

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9

Taps chocolate brown with a fair buff head. Aroma offers sweet pecan, brown sugar, toasted malt and cinnamon. Flavor is like a liquid pecan pie, sweet and nutty with some spice and an underpinning of woody hops. Mouthfeel features firm, thick body and peppy fizz. This is dessert!
