An India Pale Ale. As a beer of English origin in the 18th century, this was originally brewed for export to India, to support a journey that lasted for more than six months. The IPA was overloaded with ops for better preservation during the trip. Our Aubelou beer is a handcrafted amber beer, very fruity and powerful in the mouth. This IPA will awaken your taste buds with a very persistent grapefruity citrus hop flavor.

Opaque ruby with light brown lacing foam head. Nice bitter aroma, and same with taste. Good bitter IPA, some fruit tones present. Lasting aftertaste. (Velp 201411)

Comes out of the bottle dark, hazy honey-amber with a fairly thick and somewhat fluffy pale buff head. Strong, hoppy aroma has a resiny overtone and a citrus underpinning, more sweet than sour, like a tangerine or Mandarin orange. Flavor is hoppy and satisfying, somewhat citrus, though a little thin. Texture is smooth and fizzy, but none too firm. Still, give it a try - it could have you howling at the moon.
