Pit Bull High Gravity Ice Malt Liquor 2006 Great American Beer Festival® Bronze Medal Winner in the Other Strong Ale of Lager Category. Pit Bull Ice Malt Liquor can be described in 2 words – Strong & Smooth. Now, you don’t have to sacrifice taste for strength. Pit Bull is one of the highest alcohol content malt liquors available, but our special ice brewing process removes the “harshness” found in the other brands, resulting in smoothest tasting malt liquor in the US. We brew with only the finest Red Robust malt, and a special blend of domestic hops – giving you a quality and consistent brew that you can always enjoy. Don't "Get Bit"!

This is proof that I'll try anything... with a name like this, I should have just left it alone - or sent it on over to Michael Vick. It is the manifestation of nastiness in a can. Alcohol content, if that's what your after, is the only thing this malt liquor has going for it. No socially redeeming values whatsoever.

I bought this for the can for my collection and was very surprised at the product. Poured a nice looking pale straw color with (for this class) a decent, long lasting head. Aroma is dominated by corn and adjuncts. Flavor, while slightly winelike is actually quite tolerable. I highly recommend anyone with an interest in this class to give this a try.
