Received as a gift. Dark brown pour with a small tan head. Minimal lacing. Aromas of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, a bit of smoke with a hint of peppers. Smoky roasted malt, chocolate and coffee started the flavor parade before the heat of the peppers starts their march to the forefront. Mouthfeel is full and indicative of the style. This beer is pretty heat forward. I love spicy food and this beer works well for me. But those averse to spice may want to avoid, but a winner in my book. I need to try their Smoked Porter for comparison.
