Strong aroma is yeasty with fruity and butterscotch notes and just a hint of - soap? Floral? Rather tempting whatever! It pours a clear solar yellow with a thick, fluffy and rather persistent white head. Yeasty flavor has fruity and floral notes, the former mainly pear, and hints of malt, butterscotch and herbs or grass. Ah, it has spices? They are a bit on the subtle side, then, unless that is the source of the herbal note. Texture is smooth with above-average body and just a little fizziness plus some soapy slipperiness. Overall, very satisfying.

A bright golden colored beer with a small soapy textured white head rising briefly above. No lacing was left behind. Slight spicy, wheat nose. Subtle mix of coriander, wheat, grasiness in the taste. Light, effervescent. Refreshing enough. Just not bold enough

Sampled on 6/22/2011. This witbier pours a slightly hazy yellow gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is wheat, citrus, orange some yeast and spices. A medium to light bodied witbier. The malts are citrusy, wheat, fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and herbal. Lively carbonation. A very dry finishing witbier. The dryness kind of negates the fruit and citrus sweetness. It is probably the driest wit I have ever tasted, makes it a very refreshing beer, but I wonder if a little more residual sweetness would make it an even better beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is dry, clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter and a touch spicy.

Pours a hazy yellow. Plenty of head if you pour with a bit of vigor. Aroma is dry citrus, lemongrass, orange peel. Palate is dry, with bright floral notes. Hops are subdued. Ginger and sage spice are present. Nice balance. Easy drinker, though this one is a bit on the dry side. Finish is lightly wooded, cedar maybe. Great seasonal, and one I will be adding to my list to look for come the holidays.
