Our version of this style features a restrained malt bill consisting of Golden Promise and a bunch of flaked oats/wheat. Copious amounts of kettle hops were used at flameout for flavor and aroma. But it’s the double dry-hopping that makes this beer shine. We used over 5 pounds per barrel of Citra and Mosaic lupulin powder in this bad boy. The final dry-hopping was recirculated for 3 hours to make sure that those hop polyphenols were infused into the beer. This is the juicy pill you need for your horrible hop-thirst disease!
