The 1st Beer in the Series. On February 16th 1813, New Brunswick’s 104th Regiment of Foot started a more than 1100 kilometre march from Fredericton, New Brunswick to modern day Kingston, Ontario, to reinforce the British garrison and thwart an expected American invasion. The winter of 1813 was one of extreme cold and heavy snows and this march lasted until April. This epic march stands as a great achievement in both military, and New Brunswick history.

Thanks to my friend Nic for bringing this back from his trip at the brewery. Looks like cola but with a nice long-lasting beige head and some creamy lacing. Aromas of apples, roasted and caramel malts. The taste with the same malts has some nutty notes as well. Pretty decent brown ale that refreshes.
