Our quirky blend of three traditional wheat beer styles gives the palate a refreshing sunny burst of citrus and spice. Picaroons' commitment to a healthy environment led to the creation of this "Certified Organic" beer. First brewed in the early days as “Picaroons Canadian Wheat Ale” and was only available on tap. Then it evolved into an all-organic recipe with added coriander and orange peel for this delicious hybrid Canadian-German-Belgian wheat ale.

Thanks to my friend Nic for bringing this back from the brewery. Pours a golden-blonde colour with a white creamy-foamy head, slight hazy in the beer and creamy foam lacing. Grainy cereal malt nose with a little sweetness, like hints of honey. The taste starts off grainy, but the finish is quick. After a few sips, very mild cereal lingers in the aftertaste. Crisp mouthfeel, with still pretty decent body for a light beer. Quite refreshing on this muggy summer day. Does the job !

A very decent summer ale. Nice apperance and quite alot of head. Good wheaty aroma as well. Nice attack and nicely hopped and alot of flavour for a summer beer. Very nice, on line with everything else from the brewery.

Poured a very, very pale colour but surpringly a little clouded. A generous head which stuck, left great lacing. Lots of bubbles rise up the middle of the glass right through the whole sitting. Very vibrant nose. An inviting wheat aroma. Taste is (again, surpringsly) hoppy. A fair bit of taste actually stays on the tougue. There is a light bitterness on the finish, rounds off the taste nicely - quenching. I started this one nice and cold and it does a good job at hitting the spot. A good first impression of this brewery, they've done a well polished job with a style that's easy to spoil. This is about as good as the style allows it - I would certainly recommend.
