Branching out from the usual with our newest seasonal release! Sky High Grand Fir Ale is brewed with freshly harvested grand fir boughs which are added directly into the kettle. It is a pine ale that avoids the overtly resinous in favour of a brighter, more nuanced character featuring citrus and evergreen.

Bomber from Central City. Pours a clear straw colour along with a brief white head. Grassy nose, with some tree influence. Thin mouth to begin, became better later but still not great shakes. Curious flavour, not really pine resin but I guess it had some sort of tree thing going on. Scarcely a delight to drink, but it was interesting.
