Brewed to 11%, we loaded hops into the pre-boil, and then added more hops every 11 minutes over a 111 minute boil for a grand total of 11 hop additions (plus a dry hop). Hopquakes like this don’t come around very often and we only turn 11 once, so enjoy this brewtiful beast while you can!

Drank on a very celebratory eve, as this beer was intended, only I don't really know what we we're celebrating, other than losing our tent and being unable to go camping on my honeymoon... o well... the beer though was predominately yellow in colour, bit of a haze, smells of faintly resinous hops, tree sap, some funky tropical stuff and maybe some raisin. Taste reflects the smells, not terribly bitter, which I was surprised about. Medium to heavy bodied, biscuity, ok beer, but would not get again.
