Surprsiingly pale in colour for a pumpkin beer... light golden with a bit of copper. Not much for a head even when prodded vigoursly with a high pour. Completely clear, no sediment at all. Medium to thin, but more thin bodied, tastes wet and a bit watery. Gentle hint of pumpkin, but not much, light green hop, very delicate a subtle. Tastes like a brit pale ale more than anything else, but still really thin. Surprised it is even 5%....

Poured a flat-bodied clear, reddy-amber beneath a flaccid, might've-been white head. Aroma was barely there, maybe some pumpkin. Mouthfeel was above average. Flavour was far, far better, with nice some pumpkin on display. Reasonably enjoyable, although by no means Phillips' best.
