The Italian immigrants came to Krebs to work in the coal mines that were prevalent in the area at the turn of the century. They wore a light on their hat to show the way through the mines; at the end of the day their "miners light" led the way to a nice, tall, cold beer. A traditional American style beer - dry, light bodied, yet full flavored with a touch of hop finesse, we present Miners Light beer to reflect the tradition of full flavor and sparkling golden brilliance that was so popular with the miners of early day Krebs.

Has a cloudy appearance after pouring, tast is a little off, has a very fine head and seems to go flat real fast. Not bad to try, but i would not buy it.

Here's the deal. I've never reviewed a beer from the state of Oklahoma before. About 6 months ago, I took a road trip while on a business trip in Missouri. On my way through Oklahoma I was lucky enough to meet up with BeerPal Brett at Pete's Place! It was a Sunday and so only low ABV beers were for sale at the time, and this is one of the few beers I sampled. I really can't remember much about it so I'm trying to be somewhat fair and give it an average score. I did enjoy the beers and the company. One more state off my list!

poured from a bottle thanks to brett some time ago....well the words light beer scared me a bit but it actuall had some flavor to her. Had a touch of hops but you could taste the yeastiness behind it. Not a bad brew at all.

Bottle given to me by Brett and Hannah. Pours a clear gold with a fizzy white head. Flavor is good for a light lager. Nice hop presence really adds to it. Great session beer.

Given to me by my good friends Brett and Hannah. Bottle. Poured a clear, pale yellow color with a light, white head. No lacing. Aroma compares favorably to macro lights, but is nothing outstanding. Nice mouthfeel. For a light beer, the flavor is good. I'm not a light beer kinda guy, but this is fantastic compared to Bud Light. This isn't anything that I'd search for, but if offered, I'd gladly drink it again.

Sampled from bottle. This light lager pours clear dark gold with a thin white head. Aroma is quite bold for the style. Its malty aroma is quite pleasant compared to a BMC product. Well-balanced flavor with a floral hop presence. The yeast imparts a bit of character not typical for the style. Medium-light body and well carbonated. Good for a light lager, but not a beer that I enjoy often becasue I dislike the style.
