Fort Ord was a U.S. Army post located in Monterey Bay in California. It was established in 1917 as a manuever area and field artillery target range and was closed September 1994. Fort Ord was one of the most attractive locations of any U.S. Army post because of it's proximity to the beach and California weather. The locals still refer to the area settled by CSUMB as Fort Ord. The dust truly hasn't settled in this clean, unfiltered wheat ale with citrus and clove notes.

2nd beer of the sampler pack. Served with a wedge of lemon. The lemon seemed to step all over any aromas trying to get out, but there was some light cracker notes as well as the expected citrus notes. Flavor was cloves, but also seemed like some tea was there like they used some crystal malt in the mash. Freshing, easy to drink but nothing extraordinary.
