Second of two Italian lagers tried at Pub Italia (the other being Castello). Comes in a Dolomiti footed pilsner glass. Same yellow colour with a white frothy head and a little lacing. Again, pilsner nose with light grass. The mouthfeel is crisp and almost dry. Malty taste with notes of hop that makes things grassy. Some light sweetness was also present. This one is definitely a bit better than the Castello. "A bit", I said.

hell, i love my euro lagers super and premium so were off to a great start .. . hello - Pours a light gold .. . medium lacing, low but constant head pool .. . hay is the main player, with light grainy sweetness and light corn .. . a decent lager, better than the miller lite tin (aluminum chad!) i was drinking while watching today's rose bowl, with chad, kel, paul, cole and maya...

It pours a light amber color with thin white head and slightly laced. A bready aroma of barley, faint hops, honey, brown sugar, orange and lemon, and mild spices. The mouthfeel is smooth, sensual, and rich. Flavors of bready malts, hops, some honey, brown sugar, citrus, some tart, and mild spices. This is damn great for a lager.

i gotta say...a bit of a pleasant surprise here. looked standard, but smelled kinda nice, for a food beer at least, and didn't taste like corn and skunk. a higher quality pale lager.
