Had on draft @ the Pearl Street brewpub, Buffalo,NY .. . scary name for a beer .. . mild malts .. some berry .. unique upfront bitterness .. a bit muddled .. an ok beer at best .. . . Ah, look, it's just an old, creaky mirror, y'know, sometimes it sounds a little like it's sneezing, or coughing, or talking softly.

i wasn't expecting much from this style, as it has limited potential, but this was one of the better alts i've had. very smooth, with a nice balance. pleasantly surprised. too many times, a flagship beer is the breweries weakest offering...not the case here.
