Brewed with a monster mix of pure barley malts and stitched together with an insane amount of the stinkiest hops we could find, the frightful concoction is determined to be quite dank. It is quadruple-hopped in the brewkettle and fermented on even more hops. This is one of our famous rotating house beers that had previously only been available in our Tasting Room but was made available in bottles in 2009.

This is supposed to be a double IPA? Comes across more like a barleywine to me. Amber pour with very little head that disappears almost immediately. All I get in the aroma is alcohol and sweetness. The description brags about the amount of hops but I get no bitterness, just a very sweet, boozy sipper. With no bottle date, I have no idea if this is old or just not a good DIPA.

This is where it's difficult to rate such a hoppy beer that I do enjoy because of it's crazy danknes, but I realize inside that it's totally one dimensional. Bright mahogany, cloudy or is that alcohol swirling around inside? White sticky head. Aroma is dank for sure, could wake up the dead or a sleeping Frank. Taste is sweet, caramel sweetness but it's not a multi faceted brew. It has this one side that sticks out which I enjoy, but not the whole shabang which it should have. Either way I rate it highly beacuse it fits ma buds. Shame on me.
