On tap at The Henry. At a still too steep $6.70/pint at least it is a better buy than a bomber of Fat Tug for which they charge $12.75. At least the food is good! Back to the beer. Cloudy medium gold with minimal head. Good aroma, some coriander is evident, but I don't know about the watermelon. Maybe yes, maybe no. Could be lurking in the taste. Good enough mouth and finish. Overall not a bad choice. First one I've had on tap from Parallel 49.

Not quite what I expected it to be. First smell is a little bit skunky and almost wild. Definately smells like wheat beer, there is that heavy and bready smell that only wheat can provide. Watermelon is hidden behind all that, definately a beer with watermelon, not a beer based watermelon beverage. It seems to be at odds with itself, in the mouthfeel that is, a little bit heavy and lethargic from the wheat, especially as it warms, and a little bit watery from the melon. Not a complex flavour, mostly the above, maybe some dandelion. Can't say I love this.
