Tally Ho!, a champion beer and worthy of its name. A strong beer from the pump that i beleive deserves respect. only being a 5.5 percent er in the bottle, from the pump it is a totally different drink, more flavoursome than anything out of a bottle could be. get to a pub that sells it a see for your selfs the difference.

Cask at the GBBF 2008. Dark brown colour, nearly black. Very nice roasty aroma with notes of oak, raisins and fortified wine. The flavour is sweet, oaky and moderately roasty, nice.

Bottle. Chestnut coloured with a large light brown head. Burnt sugar, licorice, malts and fruit in the aroma. Flavours are complex mix of the same elements, more emphasis on the licorice, with some nice bitterness in the finish. Full bodied, smooth and moderately carbonated mouthfeel. I can see that some might find it a bit sickly sweet; but not me, very good.
