LEROY - Because we thought a beer named Little Chub wouldn't sell. High five this session beer from Lyons, Colorado.

Now called One Nut Brown, maybe not as bad bad :) Fairly basic but well made traditional nut brown ale. I must admit I was hopping they hopped the sh-- out of this, but alas, they did not. Solid roast character and creamy carmel feel.

12 oz can. Pours a murky dark tea color with a big creamy off white head that goes to a wispy film that laces the glass.

The aroma is earthy chocolate, a little dark fruit, and some peat.

The flavor is slightly smoky chocolate malts with a little grassy hoppiness. It’s medium to full bodied.

Overall, this would make a nice session beer. It’s pretty mild but tasty. It tastes like mild scottish ale (a mini version of the Old Chub).
