Original Sin was born out of the NYC experience. The founder, an NYCer, came to see the need for a superior cider, a cider that was clean and complex with a noticeable bite. The quest to create the perfect recipe encompassed both day and night. Day was spent upstate in a winery, tasting, testing and mixing. Night was spent in NYC bars, getting feedback from bar owners and patrons. The result, Original Sin Hard Cider was released to immediate acclaim from sources as diverse as The New York Times, Paper Magazine and Market Watch. Original Sin is made from the best apples and contains no artificial flavors or colors. Light with a clean and crisp apple taste, Original Sin goes down equally well in a pub after a game, served with dinner or dessert, or over ice on a hot summer day. We hope you visit some of the great locations stocking our product, and please let others know how refreshing and pleasurable Sin can be.

I've had a lot of ciders, alcoholic and otherwise, and this is the one I am least likely to recommend to anybody. The color is a very pale yellow. The aroma has some apple in it, but not a lot. Same with the flavor, you can detect apple, but not a lot.

Pours a pale clear yellow, not too impressive even for a cider. Crisp apple aroma is sweet and inviting. Apple flavor is sweet with a sour undertone. Firm texture has a lively and fairly persistent tingle, and finish has a little fruity sourness. Go ahead and sin!

Overrated on here. I'm in between the 80 here and 30 this gets on RB. Average cider at best. Nice n crisp and sharp, but with little else going on besides a bit of alcohol bite, not one I'd ever need to revisit.

Pours a very pale white yellow, good effervescent bubbles .. . quite a sharp cider, chardonnay fops would love this .. . the can of corn costs 57 cents! .. . apple, chardonnay, and pear skin .. . very fizzy on the tongue .. . a pretty good cider, but i like my ciders a bit sweeter, but i do like the mouth on this .. . He had a piece of food stuck to his face for 3 days, and it wasn't little either- it was chicken wing!

I have a growing additction to ciders. This one is pretty nice. It has a nice light, wineesk pour. Great fruit forward whith a touch of a bitter kick on the backside. Very drinkable, almost too drinkable.

I also gave this a try at Michael's in Waterville, New York. This poured a very light golden coloring with lots of bubbles. It was much like a cross between a sparkling wine and champagne. I was a bit hesitant to try it as I think many hard ciders can be quite harsh. However, I really enjoyed the taste. It is worth a try over lunch or dinner.

Sampled this at Michael's in Waterville, NY Poured clear and bubbly there was a very mild pleasent aroma without the harsh vinegar notes. The taste was almost champagne like. This is not one I would want all the time but it went very well with my BLT.

It is pretty delicious but really not my style. This is definitely a good beer. The aroma is of apples and spices. The appearance is nice with a decent head on it. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied. The flavor is apples and spices and would be good on Christmas. Overall, not by style nut it was alright and a change.

Never having tried a hard cider before (I don't get out much), I found this to be a nice product. The taste continued to grow on me as I worked my way down the bottle - - a very nice fruity taste that was not overly dense and balanced well with the alcohol content. May have to re-calibrate my score after sampling more hard ciders, but for a fist time try Original Sin is enough to pique my interest in trying others and in purchasing more of this product.

OK, now here's something a smidge different. Pours like a chablis or light chardonnay - a very light yellow coloring. A bit of bubbles when poured and then it flattens out. In a wine glass it looks an awful lot like a glass of light white wine. Aroma is of apple juice. Mouthfeel has a bit of bite on the roof of your mouth. Flavor is of...apple wine? A bit of cottonmouth aftertaste, drying. All in all it is clean and crisp, not sure that it is quite my cup of tea...err...apple juice. I think my preconceived expectations after having had so many ciders was a bit different. This is very refined...looks like sake. But taking it for what it is, it's OK.
