Pours coffee brown with a thick and rather persistent tan head. Aroma delivers roast malt, oatmeal, chocolate, and subtle coffee tones. It is not strong, but calls for a taste. Flavor ramps up all of the aroma’s tones and adds a snip of woody hops. Mouthfeel presents thin body and weak fizz, but it still goes down nicely.

Bottle. Black pour with a medium fizzy tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee and dark, bittersweet chocolate. Taste is roasted malt, bitter dark chocolate, burnt oatmeal and dark coffee. Body is medium with a creamy, bubbly carbonation. Ends with more roasted malt, burnt grains, dark chocolate and bold coffee notes.
