A blend of Flemish oud bruin ale and Belgian kriek ale with cherries and natural flavors. An old Belgian tradition--the artful blending of different beers to create unique, transcendent flavors--has a new home in the New World. An unlikely alliance of freshness and funk, this release combines Belgian kriek with a tart oud bruin aged for several years in oak barrels at Liefmans, our sister Blenderie in Belgium. Pours hazy pale yellow. Aroma offers subtle tart fruit. Flavor presents sharp citrus & stonefruit. Texture adds decent body and lively fizz. A nice blend, if not a super (to me) one.
