Freyja is a Belgian style Witbier. Freyja is lightly spiced and easily drinkable. Very refreshing and sparkling clear wheat ale, gently spiced with coriander and orange peel. The spices are dominant in the aroma where the coriander is closely followed by the citrusy orange peel. The flavor is slightly citrus with light bitterness.

On tap at Copenhagen Beer Festival. Pale yellow / whitish colour. This is supposed to be some kind of witbier, including the traditional ingredients coriander and orange peel - but it is just too modest on everything. Very light bodied, and refreshing enough, without any unpleasant off-flavours. Allegedly "brewed to honour Icelandic women" - I think Icelandic women would have deserved something with more flavour than this.

Pours out in a hazy golden colour with a rich lively white foam. Oranges, wheat, cookies and mild lemon in the aroma. Medium to light-bodied with notes of banana, Seville oranges, mild lemon, wheat, yeast and bread crusts. Mild finish of Seville oranges mild lemon and banana.
