This beer was brewed to celebrate the Great Danish Beer Festival. It is a Belgian inspired amber ale which has been conditioned for six months for extra smoothness. The malts are balanced by delicious Czech Saaz hops. Ølfabrikken Festival Reserve is, of course, unpasteurized, unfiltered and bottle conditioned like all of our beers. Introduced on 'Københavnske Øldage 2006'. Only available in 1½ liter champagne bottles.

Bottled. Hazy amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruits, some sweet vegetables, grass and mild notes of yeast. Also some slight butteryness and spices. Flavour is sweet malts, some fruits, quite grassy and mild acidic/sour woodenness.
