Our porter is brewed with malty sweetness balanced by warming alcohol notes. The infusion of whole bean Madagascar Vanilla adds another subtle layer of flavor. We finish by resting the beer in our whiskey barrels until the desired blended and harmony of flavors is obtained.

Poured up at AZ Strong Beer Fest 2017 where it exhibits a nice mahogany colored body that supports a mocha like head of foam. The aroma offers up dark roasted malts, a bit of burnt malts and then a cookie sort of chocolate brownie sensation. The taste delivers smooth roasty malts that is rimmed thinly by a burnt malt sensation. To midway a bit more sweetness bubbles to the surface as well as a tasty light dark chocolate note. The sweetness might be the vanilla influence but it’s hard to really pick out vanilla here. All in all pretty nice.
