Our Sangiovese Burgundy is inspired by the traditional Flemish Red Ales of Belgium. We brewed this beer with loads of Belgian and German Malts and added dark Belgian candi sugar in the boil to add notes of caramelized fruit and molasses. This double barrel aged version was first aged in Italian Sangiovese puncheons before transferring into Jamaican rum barrels filled with organic Angelino plums. This complex behemoth delivers notes of Caribbean rum, molasses, and tart red wine with stone fruit

Pours clear copper with a nice buff head. Aroma furnishes tart stone and citrus, a hint of apple. Flavor supplies tart apple, plums, grapes, citrus. Texture gives up firm body and lively fizz. Embrace counter culture's colorations.
