Pours clear topaz with a thick and lasting ivory head. Aroma provides fresh malt with hoppy and fruity hints. Flavor adds crisp fresh malt, apple, hints of resiny hops and citrus. Texture delivers decent body and perky fizz. Long live Ukraine!

Canned (thanks T.B.). Pale yellowish golden colour with small white head. Aroma is grains, some mild rubber, harsh earthy and grassy notes along with some slight grass. Flavour is sweet messy corn-grainy mix with some mild harsh earthy notes along with mild diacetylic notes.

Obolon #3 of 3. Thank God I'm done with this experiment.
Ok, I'm not quite sure where to go with this one. I did think it was some what interesting to start off with but what the hell was I thinking? Solid gold with a thin white cap. hahahah ! I love this new "Find your Ukraine beauty today!!!!" add on BeerPal. It's awesome! How did they know that BeerPal was THE place for the hook up? You can come over to Canada to live with me but you are required to do 8 things - one is to keep my house clean and the other 7 are all filthy perverted requirements. Back to reality and pondering my wasting of 3 bucks.. three times. The aroma is odd: buttery? Yes. Corn from the can, some form of low quality mild flowery perfume sprayed on a sweaty neck. Strange, the aroma here has actually increased as far as being tolerable goes. The taste is also buttery with not overly cheap grain, ok sweetness, mild yet obvious hops. My stomach has settled and this is not the abomination I thought it was. Decent carbonation, some what of an oily feel, finishes plain. And here concludes the great Obolon tasting. Never do this yourself. -

In Estonia it's sold mainly in 1 litre plastic bottles, so there's no need to buy 20 beers :) But about the beer. The Appearance is not very impressive, but the beer is actually not bad. Color is darkish yellow, no foam. Aroma is grainy. Taste is smooth and refreshing.

I used to take this one in 1l bottles after sauna. It's really light, slightly bitter and good for thirst.
