A Belgian Dark Strong Ale w/spices. This is our Christmas Ale, a recipe that our head brewer has been brewing for his friends as holiday gifts for years. It is brewed in the style of the dark, strong ales of the Trappist monasteries of Belgium, but added to it are ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, vanilla, orange peel, and cocoa powder.
