Perhaps the best brew made by OC, at least of those that I've tried. The oatmeal stout pours a fairly straight black color with a tan head that sustains itself quite nicely and provides a solid coating of lace around the glass. The aroma was of coffee and roasted malts. The flavor did not finish lactic or dry, but with a light bitterness from the roasted malts. This beer doesn't run away with excess sweetness, thankfully!
