We've teamed up with Bighead Hops to create a Single Malt and Single Hop series, better known as SMaSH! The purpose is to showcase the bittering, flavour, and aromatic characteristics of these whole leaf hops by balancing them with an appropriate malt that can accent the hops to perfection. The Lure of The Wild Hop SMaSH! Maris Otter is one of the finest British base pale malts, which leaves enough sweetness perfect for Bighead's The Wild Hop variety. Native to Meaford, where Bighead Hops proudly operates its all-organic farm, The Wild Hop boasts a big punch of alpha-acids - leafy green sticky hops with a load of citrus blended with an earthy pine note. This is true local flavour.
