Irish Channel Stout is our newest seasonal ale. Released in November, this is an American style stout that has sweet malt flavors of caramel and chocolate, complimented by a crisp bitterness produced by roasted barley and American Hops. The complex malt bill of pale and roasted malts result in this well balanced stout that is smooth, rich, dark and delicious! And watch out – ABV 6.8%! This seasonal will be available on draft through March.

A jet black colored beer with a very big frothy textured light brown head rising robustly above. There's good hang time on the head. A thick ringlet and fluffs of film are left. A burnt roasted nose. Lots of complexity though in the tasting. Caramel, chocolate. Sweetness balanced by bitterness. Slick on the tongue.

Quite surprised i enjoyed this as much as i did, not that nola doesn't make good beers, but a dry stout that is packed with so much flavour- roast and tar with a slick mouth .. . ink packed .. . recommended! .. . the cat sure was twitching alot, probably dreaming of mice...
