Tasted on tap at the 7th Annual Bistro Double IPA fest. This IPA pours a dark orange gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is mild, malty and sweet. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are piney and citrusy. Not a lot of hop bitterness. Somewhere between an IPA and a Barley wine. Nice balance. Perhaps a touch thin in body at the finish. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
