Balance is finding the point between two opposing forces for a more desirable outcome: Equilibrium. We crafted our Nickel Brook Equilibrium ESB with balance as the primary objective. Equilibrium has a great malt character and full body that you expect in an ESB. We balance it with a generous dosage of hops that gives Equilibrium a distinct fruity flavour and appropriate level of bitterness. We advise you to find your Equilibrium today!

Can from the brewery. Aroma is caramel and grassy. Copper colour with a thin head and soapy lacing. Flavour is caramel malt, grass, herbal and floral. Medium body, well carbonated. Enjoyable ESB

Can at the Arrow & the Loon. Pours a clean amber colour with a golden hue. Creamy warm cap with good retention and lacing. Becomes hazy by the last pour. The taste starts off mildly hoppy, then goes through caramel to finish with grain. Then, the grass comes back. Aromas of caramel, citrus and grass reminding me of an IIPA. The mouthfeel is crisp, mildly dry. A nice balanced brew with good grain, hops and caramel. A slightly hoppier ESB.

Tall can at Arrow and Loon. Pours a frothy, creamy beige head and has a rusty amber appearance and leaves thick dirty lacing. Has aromas of malts, herbal and floral hops. Flavours are light toasty malts, earthy hops with hints of toffee and caramel. Sort of has a bubblegum like taste in the finish. Smooth and mild creamy mouthfeel. Pretty good, too bad wasn't available there on tap.

The beer pours a translucent deep golden red with a thin white ring for a head. The aroma was citrus, pine/.spruce, caramel, and grains. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was caramel, some weak fruit notes, and a spicy finish.
