had this one at Clifton Hill while scaring the crap out of my cousins at the haunted houses. joins the ranks of the canadian lagers that are better than their mexican/american/any other ican counter parts. slightly sweet, clean, & crisp. quite passable on a summer day.

THis is a unique beer on the Ontario beer scene, a pale lager with flavour. It's golden, clear, and has a thin white head. The aroma is bready malt, with some florally hops. The flavour is malty with a hoppy finish. Very enjoyable.

I really liked this brew. Nice sweet attack if your into that sort of thing, with lots of malt flavour with a sprinking of carbination and a very nice finish. All around decent brew.

A very good local lager on par or better than Creemore....except NFB millstone is uniquely different so comparisons are moot. Just got back from the falls and pulled one from the saddlebag cooler on the bike....poured a clear light gold with a 2 finger frothy white head that stayed as a 2cm cap the rest of the drink (good malts lots of protein in this froth). Aromas of sweet malt and apricot or pear..nice nose to it. Started clean then a nice whack of sweet bready malt hits you balanced off with the fruity undertones of the yeast and cedar hops...the finish is nice...mellow with malt/fruit after tastes...deee-lishh-us. I like this lager and think it’s one of the best cottage brewed lagers in Ontario (for my tastes anyway)

Pours a pale yellow colour with a big creamy-fizz white head. Good retention, lacing and medium carbonation. The nose is malty, but with some nice aromas of honey and mild fruit. Semi-syrupy mouthfeel. Taste very light with some grain malt and corn in the finish. Nothing important, but a decent plain lager. Good for starters.

Not as good as I had remembered but not bad either. Kinda sour doubt I'll drink this again. I've had better from this brewer. it's not quite swill, but it ain't no great shakes either. Better from the glass. Reminds me of a poor man's Brooklyn Lager.

Standard brown 341ml bottle, gold foil around neck is a nice touch. Dark yellow with golden hue, 1 finger of white foam that didn't last long. Hoppy aroma and sweet like clover smell. Malty sweet taste (same clover as in the smell) with slight hop bitterness to balance. Crispness of a lager with light almost creamy mouthfeel. Smooth and drinkable with a sharp finish, better than average lager.
