Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9
Sampled on 4/18/2010 at the brewery/brewpub. This IPA pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is citrus and orange, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet with lots of orange and orange peel flavors. The hops are grapefruity and citrus. Lots of hop flavors, medium bitterness that lingers some in the mouth. Nice balance. Good carbonation. Very solid IPA. The hop aromas are very nice on this beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. The finish is clean and crisp. The aftertaste is bitter.
