A fine example of a well balanced strong ale. Reddish-brown in colour with a moderate head, 'Last Lion of Britain' has a very special aroma of red fruit and caramel with subtle earthy hops. The flavour is characterised with sweet malt and fruit ending with a smooth and dry finish. A rewarding drink for ale enthusiasts!

Sample from bottle at Copenhagen Beer Festival. Deep golden colour. Very moderate aroma, maybe a hint of red fruits and caramel, but not as much as promised. The flavour has moderate notes of toffee and caramel, just a hint of hops. Drinkable, but the lion did not roar.

Bottled@CPH BF 2011. Amber colour, not much head. Smoothly hopped brew with some mild maltyness as well. Flavour is malty along with a pleasant floral hoppyness to it.
