Pours a clear, slightly coppery golden amber with a frothy off-white head that sticks around for a while. Yeasty, fruity aroma is fairly strong and quite appealing. Yeasty, wheaty, malty flavor has a slight woody undertone. The edgy and sassy texture makes for a nice finish to a good beer for kicking off summer.

A light golden-amber colored beer with a small foamy head that disappears all to quickly leaving a thin ringlet. Biscuit malts in the nose and in the tasting. Some grassy hops. Thin in biody. But refreshing enough.

This is about as "summer" as a summer brew gets. I wish that I could say that in a good way, but this pretty much the representation of the average summer beer....at best. Seems more like a lager here than a blond ale? Giving the mouthfeel a 7, rounding up probably more like mid to upper 6's...but that is the best thing about this beer so will be generous here. Noticing the 4.4% ABV...no wonder why I drink it so fast. Free sample thanks to bro-in-law guinea piggin'. Just not into Newcastle, but I'll keep tryin them.

This beer was light and refreshing but it was very oridnary. This beer was quite thin for an ale as well. I would have it again but it wouldn't be at the top of my list of beers to pick up at the local store.

It pours a dark golden color with thin white head and copious & thick lacing. A rich aroma of caramel malts, hops, lemon/lime/citrus, some raisin, and mild spices. The mouthfeel is smooth, rich, and well-bodied. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, lime/citrus, and an excellent spice blend. Very tasty!!!

This beer had a very nice floral aroma with some hops poking through. The mouthfeel was pretty thin and there was some grain and cereal components on the palate. Average at best.

a lighter in color (between yellow and amber) than the brown, with an ever so slightly livlier hop presence in the aroma and flavor. malt still dominates and is pretty similar to that of the brown, just a touch lighter. I enjoyed this at a local baseball game, shocked to find a brand new beer on tap there. doesn't distinguish itself from it's predecessor a whole lot, but it was good enough, and like the brown, a light in flavor non-offensive beer.
