Michigan Hatter celebrates our local agriculture with its Michigan-grown Cascade hops from the Leelanau Penninsula. Bright and aromatic, with delicious malt notes underneath a citrusy showcase of hops. Pairings: sharp cheddars, herb-roasted poultry and curry.

This is a very average IPA with nothing really standing out. Mild citrus hop aroma and taste with average bitterness and a light malt background. More of a "lite" IPA.

Pours a clear, dark, brownish amber, almost mahogany, with a thick and rather persistent light tan head. Aroma is not particularly strong but has hoppy and fruity components. Decidedly hoppy flavor is mainly woody with a subtle citrus and apple undertone. Texture, though fizzy, lacks firmness. If not a great IPA, certainly worth a fair shake.
