Courtesy blue Lou. Dark nearly amber light brown. Aroma of grain, cereal, grass, honey, floral hops . Flavor much the same. Crisp and refreshing& still full flavored. This is what new glarus does best...taking a rather pedestrian style and making an awesome representation of that style...ie fruit beers, wheat beers, blocks, alt, etc...

I could drink this all day every day (if it wasn't for fear of liver failure, losing my job, coupled with the fact that New Glarus distribution doesn't see the light of day outside of Wisconsin). Dark straw yellow pour with a settling white head and thick lacing. Crisp, clean with a light to medium malt body and a snappy noble hop kicker. Biscuits, mild lemon, grass, spicy noble hops, a hint of toffee and a nice floral aftertaste. Exceptional Pils.

Smells a bit sweet and a little hoppy, there are some floral essences in there. I notice particularly a slight fruity taste in flavor, but not like juicy fruit, more like figs.

Nice golden pour with a touch of amber. White head with minimal lacing. Smell of malt and hops. Smooth and refreshing taste with sweetness from the malts and citrusy hops. Good beer!

Thanks, heybeerman... a clean, crisp and very refreshing lager. Pours clear golden with a moderate head. Laces well. Light to medium on the pallette with malts up front tapering to bitter hops at the finish. Nice all around.

Nice looking beer, gold with a touch of amber, white head that starts off thick and goes away. Aroma is pretty classic to a pilsner, sweet malts, grains and grass. Light to medium body, mild flavors of malt, lemon, grass and slight bitterness at the end. This could be a good backyard summertime beer, kind of like a typical american light pilsner but has a little more going for it.

I missed this beer the first time around, so glad to see it back on the regular lineup. Pours a clear amber golden colour. beautiful fizz, no mucho cabeza. Aroma is sweet like honey, flowers and herbal notes. Taste is biscuit malt, honey again and super duper clean. NG, i love your pils!

Thanks to John for this.. . Pours a yellow caramel , with medium foam and great lacing .. . for being close to a year old this is still a fantastic lager, light floral notes with some fresh hay and grain .. . Is it true that there's a point on a man's head where if you shoot it, it will blow up?

Another NG beer from pfoxyjohn. This one pour a clear golden honey color with a medium white tight head and some lacing. Some slight sweet malt aroma at first with Hallertau hops and grass in the back. Taste is extremely smooth as one would expect from New Glarus with a slightly sweet flavor and grassy and very lemon hops character with a very slight bitter linger. Nice pils - thank you again John.
