This one was old, skunk in the aroma and flavor departments, nothing else was really noticeable. Pale yellow body, thin fizzy head, mouthfeel is a bit on the thin side.

Pretty good for a wheat beer. I prefer my wheats clear like this vs. unfiltered. Very smooth and crisp. I had a problem with my first pour, dumping it too fast, so the sediment got mixed in. Not too bright. After that I did the slow pour and left the last ounce with sediment out. Made a world of a difference! Flavor is pretty much wheat. Low ABV% means watery, but the flavor is good. Glad I got on sale, as I would be a little upset at $9.99/4-pack. Probably not going this direction again, but worth the try.

Pours a clear, rather wan solar yellow with a thick, if not too persistent, white head. Wheaty aroma is none too strong and has a hint of yeast. Flavor has a malty core and wheaty and yeasty notes, plus a hint of fruit. Smooth texture has typical body and fizz, leaving a tingle that is persistent if not strong. Though not the best wheat I've had, give it a try if this is your favorite style.

A pale yellow colored beer with a small frothy textured, white head that rises briefly above. Settles into a thick ringlet. The nose is light grains. The tasting grassy. A light, effervescent beer. Pleasant, just no WOW factor.

Sampled on 3/30/2009. This wheat ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with decent retention and good lacing. The aroma is cereal and grainy with a touch of sweet esters. A medium bodied wheat ale. The malts are cereal and grainy, some bubble gum and only a touch of banana and clove ester so it’s more of a wheat ale than a Hefe. The hops are floral and spicy. Good carbonation. Nice balance. I am not one for wheat ales, but this one is very nice. A very clean and smooth tasting beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

new beer from a new brewery...doesn't get better than that. I picked up the pale, amber and wheat and started with the one I figured I'd like the least. if that's the case, i'm in for a treat with the other 2 as this was an above average wheat beer. the aroma is quite pleasant, even if you have to work a bit to get to it. this beer smells fresh, malty. the appearance is average, unfiltered, with a quickly dissapating thin white head. the mouthfeel is smooth and soft. light, as the style calls for. flavor is refreshing...quite malty and flavorful, bubble gum and wheat. reminds me a little of high rollers from Anderson Valley. Crisp finish. If the other two are also above avg for their style, I may have a new hangout when the wife wines it up in Napa. Tasting room opens June 2009!
