Brewed with our good friends at Silver City Brewing, this beer reflects the true collaborative spirit of our local brewing community. Brewed especially for Seattle Beer Week 2009, Hoptrocity is the Ale of Two Cities. 25% rye malt lends a spiciness that accentuates the intense Centennial, Cascade, and Amarillo hop profile while additional malts provide the perfect balance of sweetness. Enjoy

Sampled at GABF on 9/18/2010. This IPA pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, with a touch of citrusy hops. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy. Nice carbonation. Medium bitterness. Crisp and clean. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
