This is a very pleasant pale lager. The flavor is slightly fruity with a hops flavor underneath. The color is a wonderful golden color which looks marvelous. Thin white head which holds for a few minutes. Overall a very nice lager definitely worth a taste test.

It had little foamy head all of 30 seconds and had a bit of a n aftertaste. Otherwise kinda bland. That said it was a nice companion to an excellent meal of Grecian style chicken

Has hardly any head whatsoever and has a pale golden appearance. Pretty excessive carbonation. Has a bit of that skunky taste like a Heineken and maybe even Stella, but here it's a bit more offensive. Has light fruit flavours and mild roasted malts. Watery mouthfeel. Not much sensation on the palate. Really nothing special. Easy to drink, just too plain with no bite.

Well in all the years I attended my local Greek Orthodox Church's food festival, I tried samples of Ouzo, and Greek Wine, but never the Greek beer, Mythos. Until this year's festival, where I finally broke down and gave it a shot. And it lived up to my expectations. Greek Whiz Water. BUT, I do have to say that I was pleasantly surprised that it was not as bad as I thought it would be. Golden in color, with the usual white head and yellow body that is common for a generic lager, the flavor of grain was most noticeable. The surprising thing about the one I consumed preventing me from giving Mythos a rock bottom review is that it wasn't skunky, which I expected because of it being an import in a green bottle. The batch it was in must have traveled well. Will I have another at the next Greek Food Festival? That's debatable. I got a nice new bottle label for the collection out of it if for nothing else. YIA SOU!!!!

I had this at the rehearsal dinner of a dear friend. I have to say, I don't really dig this beer. It was skunky, it tasted skunky, and it looked really yellow. I like to try new beers and i often go back to good ones that i find but I won't be having this one again.

Golden pour with a thin white head. Plenty of carbonation and minimal lace on the glass. The first bottle had a strong grain taste to it while the second bottle wasn't as noticeable. Not very memorable.

This is a beer that I tasted in CRETE, it has nothing special, but it is very refreshing when it's very hot. it wears a nice white foam with a yellow pale color , smell is fresh in the mouth, freshness of the beer hides all features. light without depth. this is a thirst beer.

From bottle so hard to see color and foam. Aroma is that of any mass produced pilsener, so is taste. Nice bitterness and good long bitter aftertaste. (Schiphol 201208)

Pours a light golden color, clear, with lots of bubbles in the glass with a nice head that is white and creamy. Both head retention and lacing are very good. The aroma is light breadiness from the malts, subtle fruit notes and pilsner-like hop aromas. The taste is crisp and clean lager, with a good balance of sweetness and bitterness. The mouthfeel is thin with a moderate level of carbonation and it finishes dry with some fruit flavors. Overall it's clean and refreshing!

@ Taverna Cretekou, Old Town Alexandria VA. In that we had this at this restaurant was the only good point. Just not digging it - more of a Pilsner than a Lager, Green Bottle, Skunky, watery, blah blah blah. This is not the beer you were looking for, move along, move along...

Clear light straw yellow pour with a bubbly white head which quickly shrinks leaving very little lacing. Typical pale lager aromas of weak German hops, very lightly skunked (green bottles), light grass. Taste is same as the nose - weakish but decent, still refreshing since the beer is ice cold and it is hot outside. Greece marked off!
