Tasted at the 2005 Bistro IPA festival. Dark orange gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity with a touch of oak. A medium bodied IPA> Malts are mild , fruity and sweet. Hops are really mild for an IPA, but kind of grapefruit and floral. Touch of oak flavors, with seem to dampen out the hops. More in an English style than anything else. From a west coast perspective it mild and bland. Not sure I would call it an IPA in a blind tasting. More like an amber or pale ale. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
