Batch #3. Copper color, medium head. A full-bodied IPA. Very hoppy but with a mellow malt undertone. Very hoppy on the first sip, but mellows noticeably with time. This is a big, expansive IPA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is malty and smooth. Aftertaste is bitter. There is a slight alcohol bite, despite a 6.8%. Some bottle aging could really make this beer exceptional.
