Holy Mole’ was inspired by our love of Mole’ sauce. It’s a brown ale that we age on cinnamon sticks, cocoa nibs and 4 different types of peppers! It’s not “hot”, but you can taste the great pepper flavor along with the chocolate and cinnamon.

Pours medium brown with a fluffy head. Roasted coffee and cinnamon are the dominant aromatics. The flavor is that of a good brown ale plain and simple, but it finishes with all the mole character. I loved the chocolate, cinnamon, and chile accents; they aren't overpowering yet you can't miss them. Medium bodied and super soft on cask. The chile leaves a subtle warmth in the swallow. One of the best things about this beer is how unexpectedly drinkable it is. You wouldn't expect to want to enjoy several mole-flavored beers in a row. I did.
