The Mort Subite Xtreme Kriek beer is brewed according to the centuries-old recipe of spontaneously fermented Lambic, slowly ripened in oak wooden barrels. The most juicy and ripened cherries are added here, which gives this traditional beer an extremely fruity taste.

Red color, even foam head is red. Aroma is all sweet cherry, big surprise. Taste is likewise. Not my style of beer, but when used with desert still OK. (Velp 201202)

250 ml bottle, from Carrefour, Cartagena, Spain. ABV is 4.3%. Lambic brewed with 10% cherries and elderberries, sugar and sweetener. Gusher bottle. Red colour, moderate pinkish-white head. Intense aroma of preserved cherries and cherry candy. The flavour is intensely sweet and fruity, notes of cherry candy, but not very sour. Hints of marzipan. Good in its own perverted way - there is not much here to remind you that this actually is a beer, though.

Ruby red colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is cherries along with sourness. Flavour is cherries and sourness. Still the overall is quite to the sweeter side.
