Altbier - We went to great lengths to keep this beer as true to style as possible. Copper in color, with a noticeable hop character, this is a great seasonal beer served only in summer.

Light copper body, thin off-white head, good retention. Fresh nose of caramel apple and morgan-fields of grain. Smooth and medium bodied. Bitterseet flavor, slightly buttery. MUSIC: 'Rollin' and Tumblin' by Muddy Waters

Sampled on tap at Morgan Street. This Alt poured clear amber with a generous tan head and notable lacing. Aroma is mild and clean with faint apple notes. Slightly sweet flavor with spicy, floral hops. Medium-bodied, lightly carbonated and smooth. A good beer, but a bit more sweet than I was expecting.

This was decent Altbier from Morgan Street, nice balance exhibited here, good head and head retention. Could have been creamier, even for the style. A nice session offering from MS.
