Brewed with real Canadian honey. Our Prairie Honey Wheat Ale is a medium-bodied, well-balanced brew that is the perfect drink for a hot summer day. The honey malt leaves notes of residual sweetness that is rounded out with a slight hop bitterness, resulting in a refreshing brew all around.

Pours a clean amber colour with big frothy warm cap, good stay and full web lacing. Malty nose with cereal grain aromas, kind of like hay. The taste is lighter, but malty as well. Hint of wheat in the finish, maybe. Slight honey on the tongue that lingers. A decent ale that is not as rich as expected.

The beer pours a translucent golden brown with plenty of effervescence and a quarter inch creamy light tan coloured head. The aroma is molasses, grass, honey, and earthy hops. The mouthfeel is weak to medium bodied with slightly above average carbonation. The flavour is sweet and malty with notes of molasses and honey, and grains. No wheat anywhere that I can discern.
