It has colour, but not much else. As I actually like Moosehead, but hate lime beers I was worried, and Thank God I was because I needed it. The lime ruins the beer by taking a nice malty Canadian swill brand and adding a metallic taste to the mix that is very offputting.

3rd sample from our swill pack macro beer offered at the K-W crapfest of bad beer. This one’s really vacant. Pale yellow, nonexistent head. Aromas of synthetic citus oils and adjunct sweetener. Weak, watery mouth feel, flavor almost identical to the smell - lime flavoing oils override the weak cereal and hop notes , some dextrin sweetness. fast, substanceless, dry...there, I did a lime macro, I don’t have to taste any more...can’t possible see how they’d differ from this swill..

Bought this while on tour in New Brunswick. After Bud Light Lime making a popular statement in Canada this past summer, Moosehead decided to jump in on the light beer with lime. Pours a very pale yellow colour with a frothy white head that disappears slowly and leaves decent lacing. The nose is actually quite strong on the lime side. The taste is the opposite. Nothing. Loads of water, a little grain, a little lime juice and really, nothing much else. Very dull flavours. Did not like this one from the bottle (when purchased it) as you could not smell the good lime scent, but the taste is the same in both situation. Bland. Hardly existing. Preferred the Bud Light Lime.
