Mongozo Buckwheat White is a worldwide innovation. This White Beer has an alcohol content of 4.8% by volume and is brewed with buckwheat, malt, rice, hops, yeast, orange peel and herbs, including coriander. October 2017: 330 ml bottle, from Helgø Meny Maxi, Sandnes. ABV in Norway was 4.7% at the time. Nearly clear and very pale straw colour, small white head. Aroma of wheat / buckwheat, witbier yeast, coriander and other spices, hints of citrus peel. Light bodied. The flavour is yeasty, wheaty and citrussy, notes of mild spices.
